Through force of will and strength of steel, a noble Paladin with this skill is able to blind her enemies with the glory of the Light. After trading blows with the Paladin and facing the fire of righteousness burning in her eyes, an enemy will sometimes be struck with a divine epiphany and momentarily repent his past undertakings. So complete is the transformation, that the converted will turn to slay its former comrades. Aspect - Blessed Defense Innate Abilities (Lvl 1) Conversion Chance: 100% Duration: 20.0 seconds Range: 2.8 Meters Regeneration Time: 5.9 seconds Modifications See also: Sacred 2:Combat Art Modifications Bronze Expand - Doubles the effect range, allowing multiple enemies to be converted at once. Devoted - Adds another 10 seconds to the conversion duration. Silver Penalty - Makes other enemies attack converted targets (increases threat level). Evangelist - Reduces the regeneration time of Conversion by 50%. Gold Blessing - Restores the health of freshly converted targets by 30% + 0.2% per level. Fanatic - Increases the Attack speed of converted targets by 20%.

Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

• Blessed Defense Lore - improves casting speed, allows for modification points.

• Blessed Defense Focus - reduces regeneration time and allows for higher level combat art without penalty, allows for modification points.

• Concentration - directly improves regeneration time.

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

• Stamina will lower regeneration time.

Usage Strategies

• The Paladin can make a veritable army of minions using this spell. Pick the strongest enemies you can convert and have them follow you around.

• The other use of Conversion is to use it on a single very dangerous enemy with the goal of making other enemies turn against it, wearing it down.

Pros and Cons

Pros

• No cooldown and 100% convert chance allows for converting many opponents

Cons

• Doesn't gain much benefit from any skills or attributes
• Sometimes, converted enemies will still follow you around after Conversion expires. They will be non-hostile to you (and un-attackable) but will attack other friendly characters in towns
