Sacred 2:Holy Fire

This Combat Art is a (Buff) With a hint of brimstone in the air, the noble Paladin strides into battle encased in this holy aura. All those within its range are burnt with the fires of divine virtue. Holy Fire cannot be used in conjunction with Holy Freeze. This is a Spell Damage Based Combat Art. Aspect - Devout Offense Innate Abilities (Lvl 1) Damage: 10-10 Fire Hits per second: 0.5 Boost to all Fire Damage: 50% + 2% per level Chance for Burning: 30% + 0.2% per level Range: 10 meters Allies Benefit: 50% Regeneration Time of all Combat Arts: +40.0% Modifications See also: Sacred 2:Combat Art Modifications Bronze Resist Fire - Bestows fire damage mitigation to the Paladin (20% + 0.2% per level). Red Hot - Further increases the chance to burn enemies (15% + 0.1% per level). Silver Explosive - Increases the range of Holy Fire by 2 meters. Combustion - Adds more fire damage to Holy Fire (12 + 7.5 per level). Gold Insulate - Lowers the regeneration penalty of Holy Fire by 50%. Flames - Further boosts all fire damage by 50% + 2% per level.

Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

• Devout Offense Lore - improves combat art damage, critical chance, and casting speed, allows for modification points.

• Devout Offense Focus - reduces regeneration time penalty and allows for higher level combat art without penalty, allows for modification points.

• Concentration - directly improves regeneration time penalty.

• Ancient Magic - directly improves combat art damage and lowers opponents' resistance to its damage.

• Combat Discipline - will increase the damage of this combat art.

• Damage Lore - will improve the chance, duration, and strength of the secondary damage effects triggered by Holy Fire: Burn.

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

• Intelligence will increase its damage and spell intensity.

• Stamina will lower regeneration time penalty.

Usage Strategies

• Hits enemies in damage pulses and also boosts any fire damage (weapon or spell) that the Paladin or party members may be inflicting.

• Fire damage mitigation from Resist Fire stacks with other sources of damage mitigation and can eventually reach 100% (fire immunity).

• Holy Fire can affect allies. Read the Note About Party Buffs to learn how to avoid a glitch in the base game where buff effects stack infinitely upward.
