Mechthild is the daughter of a disgraced former jester named Clarence who is banned from ever entering the city. She hasn't seen him in a long time and is struggling to get by. So she has agreed to a marriage she doesn't want because she is too poor to say no. Unknown to her is that her father is nearby and has asked you to get his hidden treasure. If you can find the gold and give it to her, she'll be able to get out the betrothal.
