He appears with the other two Ancients in Crag Rock, in the southeast corner of the valley near the river. Battle Notes Racial Type: Human Madawc the Guardian always spawns alongside the other two Ancients, Korlic the Protector and Talic the Defender. As a group the three of them are formidable opponents, but if they can be split up and fought one-on-one, they are very manageable. He has additional damage mitigation against physical and magic damage. Special Abilities: Shout - Madawc the Guardian uses the Barbarian combat art Shout, which boosts his defense rating by a big percentage. This is a temporary buff but it has a long duration (80s) and it also boosts the defense of any other nearby enemies.
