Officer Wendelin will send you to Kratos with a magic scroll. He will examine the scroll and tell you it's a very powerful one that can be used to summon a demon. Unfortunately it is beyond his skills to decipher the scroll and he tells you to visit Archmage Saewald in Kufferath Castle to help with figuring out the mystery.
