After hearing of the Abbot's whereabouts from Farmer Benjamin you head over to the cemetery. You go down into the vault and find the Abbot resurrecting corpses even though he doesn't have all the artifacts. All he's doing is making barely animate corpses. Trying to talk to him proves useless as it's clear he's losing his sanity. The only clear solution is for him to lose his life as well.
