This Combat Art is a (Buff) This gift of Nature allows the Druid to conjure forth one or more wolf allies who, with their mystical powers, provide the Druid a potent and ferocious colleague. Aspect - Nature Summons Innate Abilities (Lvl 1) Summons 2 Dire Wolves Dire Wolf inflicts Physical damage Dire Wolf base Armor resistances: Physical Dire Wolf can be killed but will revive after a brief period Dire Wolf attributes, damage, health, and bonuses increase with each rune read Regeneration Time of all Combat Arts: +39.6% Modifications See also: Sacred 2:Combat Art Modifications Bronze Fangs - Increases the wolves' damage by 10 + 7.5 per level. Spirit Wolf - Summons an additional wolf. Silver Stalwart - Increases the wolves' attack and defense rating by 25% + 2.5 % per level. Spirit Wolf - Summons an additional wolf. Gold Fangs - Increases the wolves' damage by 10 + 7.5 per level. Hale - Improves all of the wolves' armor resistances by 5.5 + 5.5 per level.

Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

• Nature Summons Lore - improves Dire Wolf's armor resistances from the Hale mod, improves casting speed, allows for modification points.

• Nature Summons Focus - reduces regeneration time penalty and allows for higher level combat art without penalty, allows for modification points.

• Concentration - directly improves the regeneration time penalty

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

• Stamina will lower the regeneration time penalty

Usage Strategies

• Taking both Spirit Wolf mods will allow for up to 4 Dire Wolves active at once.
• SHIFT+Click can be used to direct summons in Sacred 2 to attack specific targets. You can set their aggro range (default '/' key) and also toggle single or group attack mode (default '.' key). In group attack mode minions will all attack the same target as you.
• If the player doesn't mind the possible down time when the Dire Wolf is knocked out, the armor resistance mod can be ignored in favor of the damage mod.

Pros and Cons

Pros

• As a pack, Dire Wolves inflict good damage, all the way into Hell difficulty.
• No need to recast buff if Dire Wolf falls in battle.

Cons

• The player lacks finer control over minion movements and targeting.
