Talk to Head Eye-Mechanic Nimble, who will confess that Gareth’s eye isn’t finished yet because he’s out of lenses.

Collect 10 bandit eyes

Ah.. greetings! The eye for Garteh? Uhm.. well.. ah, to be frank: it's ... not done, yet. A lot of work to do, you see? Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines. And, well, Gareth doesn't pay anyway. And... it's really embarrassing, but... I'm out of lenses. I can't do anything without them. But if you do me a favor and collect some lenses from bandits, I'll finish the eye immediately. You can find groups of bandits not far from here, right out of town. Ten should be enough, I believe. And just no qualms, please! That trash doesn't deserve better.

Head out of the city's eastern or northern gate and kill bandits (brigands/bandits/thieves etc.), picking up the eyes they drop. When you have 10 Brigand eyes return to Nimble.

Head Eye-Mechanic Nimble

10 eyes, perfect. Now I just have to remove the lenses, and then I can finish the mechanical eye. Just a moment, it won't take long.

After a moment the quest will update and you can talk to Nimble again to receive the eye; you will automatically lose 6 gold. This completes the quest.

Here! It's done! That's a total of 5.99 gold, one gold for express manufacture included. Hmm... sorry, I don't have change. So let's say it's 6 gold.
