This quest can be very tough depending on your level, as the 5 pigs you are supposed to rescue don’t join you as henchmen until all 10 spiders are dead, making it difficult to keep them alive if you can’t kill the spiders attacking them fast enough. Making life even harder is the tall grass/corn the fight takes place in, which quite effectively conceals both pigs and spiders.
Talk to Thomas to learn of his spider problem.
As soon as you accept the quest from Thomas, rush West into the field where both pigs and spiders will have spawned.
Kill the 10 spiders as quickly as possible – you’ll know when you’ve got all 10 because the 5 pigs (or fewer, if some died) will join you as henchmen. Talk to Thomas again for your reward.

Notes
- Note: You will fail this quest if all five pigs are killed, however Thomas is invincible during his time as your henchman
- Tip: Area of Effect skills can be useful if you're struggling to kill the spiders quickly, or locate them in the grass
- Tip: If you're having trouble tracking down the last few spiders, use your radar, where they show up as quest marked enemies
