Sacred:Baroness Vilya

The Baroness Vilya is the ruler of Mascarell and fiancé of Prince Valor.

She is a distant cousin of the Valorian bloodline, and her grandmother is rumored to have been a seraphim, while other claim she often seen with the elven people of Tyr-Fasul. Her traveling clothes and use of the bow certainly make her look like an elf.

Ancarian Quest

Vilya takes in Prince Valor, who has barely survived his last battle, and sends him to take refuge in an abandoned fortress in Tyr-Fasul.

Shortly afterward, Baron DeMordrey invades Mascarell and asks Vilya to marry him, thus legitimizing his rule (King Aarnum has just died and Vilya is related to royalty), but Vilya rejects him and reunites with Prince Valor.

Vilya helps Prince Valor in his plan to overthrow DeMordrey, but soon afterward she witnesses Prince Valor's death and is kidnapped by Shaddar, being rescued by our hero at the end of the adventure.

Underworld Quest

Vilya is having nightmares in which she has visions of her beloved Prince Valor, who died, and convinces Master Alcalata to open a portal to the underworld. When Alcalata opens the portal in the Forge of the Ancestors, the Subkari Ssskrak kills Alcalata and kidnap her.

The hero rescues Vilya from the subkari, but at the end of the adventure she dies in the confrontation with Anducar. Her ghost is reunited with that of her beloved Prince Valor.
