The origins of this spell are unknown, yet it has existed in spell books for as long as anyone can remember. The High Elf Adept commands thorn-like splinters of ice and hurls them towards her enemy. A mere wave of her hand will either bundle the splinters into one burst or turn the burst of icicles into a nova blasting out in a circle with her at the center.

Usage Strategies
- Use on flat terrain. Sometimes the thorns might pass over the heads of the enemies without hitting them. The way to avoid this is to click the exact mob you want it hit. However, the thorns will still be stopped by landscape obstacles (trees, high or low ground, etc.)
- If you are using Crystal Skin you can get away with this tactic... Get up close and personal with your target, and either click on the target, or what is generally more effective is click on the edge of your screen in the direction of your enemy. You will send a concentrated blast!
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Decent damage
- Good crowd control spell
- Good thorns dispersion radius
Cons
- Limited by landscape
- Difficult to balance between regeneration time and damage, especially if it's used as a primary offensive combat art
