Sacred provides a wide variety of weapons for characters to use. These fall into four main categories: unarmed, melee, or close combat; ranged; and, firearms. Each character class is able to equip three styles of weapon: for all but the Dwarf, unarmed (gauntlets), melee weapons and ranged weapons are selectable – firearms cannot be used. For the Dwarf, unarmed, melee and firearms can be chosen, but not ranged weapons.
