You go to see the Herbalist at Artamark's Gate, in order to buy some supplies for your travels. After assisting you kindly, you are asked a favour in exchange for a good discount: the Herbalist asks you to bring a letter to Shadow Shelly, a well known witch that lives in the woods near Artamark's Gate.

The letter you've been given is an invitation to the next annual herbalist's conference, celebrated here in Artamark's Gate. Such a small walk is worth for the nice discount you get, so you pick the letter and start to walk towards the eastern woodslands.

As long as you arrive to the house you have to deal with some ghosts, and you now understand why such an offer by the Herbalist. Anyway, your surprise is the house is empty, and you only find a raven standing at the entrance.

Shadow Shelly's Raven appears to be a talking raven, who requires to be given some nuts in order to give you information in exchange. You feel so confused that you walk back into the house to take another look inside there.

There's no sign of Shelly in the house, but fortunately you find some nuts into a coffin. Let's see what the raven has to say then... You go to the entrance and give the nuts to the raven, who explains the witch went to the forest to gather some herbs three days ago. That's a lot of time, and you hope it isn't too much! You have to find out what happened to the witch!

You start walking through the woods heading west, and not too far you find a small camp infested by kobolds and goblins. They have captured Shadow Shelly and they want to cook her for dinner! Death to all these green beasts!!!

It's a hard job to kill these green disgusting creatures, but at least you arrived on time. Shelly is so pleased of being rescued... and she's also so happy to receive the invitation!

Finally she can go back home after the adventure is finished. And that remembers you your need of having a rest! A well earned rest!
