Detailed Walkthrough

This is the first quest the Temple Guardian encounters in the game. It encounters a hologram at the bottom of the stairs.

Step 1: This hologram appears and asks the Temple Guardian to go back up and retrieve its possessions. The Temple Guardian can either teleport back up to the top of the pyramid or run back up. There are three items up there to collect. These items are a teddy bear, a ball and a cube 2.0 x 86 Phoenix edition. Once these items have been collected this part of the quest is complete.

Step 2: Talk to a child named Benny on the northeast edge of Sloeford. The Light path Temple Guardian and the Shadow path Temple Guardian each have a different message in its quest log. The next step for each Temple Guardian is to talk to a toy maker in Twainbrook, a town to the northeast of Sloeford. *

Step 3: Talk to the first toymaker. You are asked to retrieve a doll from his competitor.

Shadow path Temple Guardian kills the competitor, retrieves the doll, returns to the first toymaker and kills him too. A new marker appears on the map.

Light path Temple Guardian speaks to the competitor and is sent on a mission to rescue the competitor's son. After rescuing the son and returning to the competitor, the TG is sent back to the Toymaker. After he kills the Toymaker, a new map marker appears on the map.

Step 4: Go to map marker. Your TG receives a message that there is an important item in the next big city. The log book directs you to talk to the curator.

Step 5: Talk to the curator. After talking to the curator, your TG then needs to go into the museum and kill a few vermin (mostly spider types). When finished, talk to the curator.

Shadow path kills curator. Light path does not.

Step 6: Talk to Tybasso. This part is an escort quest. Your TG needs to escort Tybasso to another location outside of Thysylium.

Step 7: Escort Tybasso to a farm house just off the road north of Clearview. After you open the door and step inside, Tybasso runs inside. He tells you to check on a noise outside.

Step 8: Talk to the mage outside. Shadow path kills the mage and her party and then kills Tybasso. Light path talks to the mage and then kills Tybasso. This is the end of the Unpack Quest.

• TIP: Your Temple Guardian may be too low a level at the point where you talk to Benny to proceed directly to the next step. This is especially important if this is your first Temple Guardian. You may want to head south west to the South Brigand camp and do the quests there. You can also pick up the first quest in the Hunting Highwaymen quest chain. This quest leads back to Sloeford. Complete this chain of quests to help level your character up some more. At this point, your Temple Guardian should be leveled up enough to survive all stages of this quest chain.
