Quick Walkthrough
There are three ways to complete this quest:
1. Ignore the bandits
- Just cross the bridge without talking to a suspicious elven guy standing in the middle.
- The bandits won't tolerate such a lack of consideration and would attack you.
- After you kill them the quest is done.
2. Pay some money
- Talk to the Bandit. He would give you a choice: either to pay them some money or to battle them.
- If you hit the accept button, you'd give some money to the bandits. It's actually quite a little sum at this time of the game.
- After that the quest is completed.
3. Battle the bandits
- Talk to the Bandit. He would give you a choice: either to pay them some money or to battle them.
- If you hit the decline button, they would wait until you talk to their leader again or move.
- If you move, they'd attack you.
- After you kill them the quest is done.
WARNING: In some versions of the game this quest is bugged and some ways of solving it are considered failing it.

Notes
- In the original Ice and Blood this quest is bugged. Either way of solving it would give you two log entries, one of which would be empty and marked as failed.
- Community Member Patch fixes this quest's behavior for Ice and Blood.
