Damage Types: Weakest Against: Region: The Jungle |
Battle Notes
- Racial Type: Humanoid Monster
- Flayers have physical-to-poison damage conversion on their attacks. They also have additional damage mitigation against poison.
- Flayers are the "leaders" of the Fetish, due to their group buffs. Killing the Flayers first will make the rest of the group easier to defeat.
- Each normal Flayer will look a little different, as each is assigned 1 of 3 random pieces of armor (chest or legs).
- All elite Flayers will always have the full armor "set" equipped.
Special Abilities:
- Hard Hit - a melee attack with significantly boosted damage and chance to hit.
- Attack Scream - this temporary buff (10s) is indicated by an orange halo of little lightning bolts around the Flayer (resembles the Barbarian's Berserk). It increases the attack speed, cast speed, and attack rating of the Flayer and any of his nearby allies.
- Cloak of Shadows (elites only) - like the Assassin's spell of the same name, this buff bestows a transparent "invisibility" effect on the Flayer. Though the player can still target the Flayer normally, the buff gives the Flayer a very large chance to evade bonus.
