This Combat Art is a (Buff) The harsh grasslands of their homeland offer the Barbarian people little refuge from the elements. Aspect - Tactical Warfare Innate Abilities (Lvl 1) Increases base Defense Rating by 20 + 25 per level Chance to Block Ranged Attacks: 32.5% + 0.5% per level Resistance Bonus: 30 + 15 per level Physical Regeneration Time of all Combat Arts: +39.6% Modifications See also: Sacred 2:Combat Art Modifications Bronze Tough - Increases the Barbarian's base defense rating even more (100 + 75 per level). Ward - Adds a chance to block incoming enemy spells (25% + 0.2% per level). Silver Unstoppable - Reduces the impact and duration of incoming detrimental magic effects by 10% + 2% per level. Backbone - Increases the Barbarian's physical resistance even more (8 + 5 per level). Gold Backlash - Adds a chance to reflect close combat attacks (22% + 0.2% per level). True Grit - Lowers the regeneration penalty of Iron Skin by 25%.

Skills and Attributes

The following skills will affect this combat art:

• Tactics Lore - increases physical resistance value and allows for modification points.

• Tactical Warfare Focus - reduces regeneration time and allows for higher level combat art without penalty, allows for modification points.

• The appropriate Weapon lore (such as Hafted Weapons when the Barbarian is wielding an axe) - will increase the casting speed.

• Concentration - will lower this combat art's regeneration time penalty.

• Armor Lore - will indirectly increase the physical resistance bonus by a percentage (after it is added to the player's other sources of armor).

The following attributes will affect this combat art:

• Stamina will lower regeneration time

Usage Strategies

• Iron Skin is a very useful defensive buff because it increases base physical resistance and base defense, which can then be increased by other buffs, skills, and items which increase these values by a percent.
