Oh you're back already! That was quick! I have another task for you. I have been studying a particular problem for many years and I believe I am close to solving it. I believe that the "Flaming Lance" comet, which has circled our planet for a number of years now, may be the cause of the current fluctuations of T-Energy. We build a focusing station nearby to measure the fluctuations, go and collect the latest rewults from my colleague Welkahr!
Head east over the covered bridge and then immediately north down a steep set of stairs. Head morth down the path until you reach a T-junction and then turn left (northwest). Follow this road over the bridge and keep heading west and then southwest on the other side of the Silken River. Continue until you reach a small track branching off to the left (south) up onto a hill – you should be just west of the Celestial Dome. Head into the cave at the end of the track – there are several Spiders inside, so some defence against poison is advisable, also watch out for the magical defence mechanism in the large room at the end.
Talk to Assistant Welkar to receive the test results and return them to Nomengalus for your reward.
Here, this ledger contains the latest results. Master nomengalus will be impatient if you dawdle.
You can now talk to Nomengalus again for the third part of this quest chain.
