Quick Walkthrough
Detailed WalkthroughTalk to Farith to learn that a thief has stolen a collection of poetry and is claiming them as his own work.
Retrieve the stolen poems from the imposter's mansion! We have uncovered a terrible crime, but the criminal has not yet been brought to justice. Many years ago, a thief stole the only existing manuscripts of several wonderful Elven poems. When he realized that no one but him and his client knew of these poems, he murdered his client and passed the poems off as his own creations. They became the basis of a whole new form of Elven poetry and have touched many hearts. The ruthless thief became rich even though he couldn't write any worthwhile poems himself. Finally the murder was solved and the terrible deed was uncovered. Now the thief is hiding in his mansion, protected by unscrupulous mercenaries. At night we hear terrible screams from within the mansion's walls, but so far no one has been able to apprehend the murderous thief. Please go there and retrieve the original manuscripts of the poems. Head north from Farith as though going to the gladiator arena. Turn left (west) just before the arena and follow the road west over a canal bridge. Turn right (north) just after the bridge and cut northwest across the grounds of TyBosso's mansion. There are a few Mercenaries wandering around the grounds, but you don’t have to kill them for the quest even if some are quest marked enemies. Head northeast along the beach until you reach a dungeon entrance and head inside.
I'm a poet and your judge the same, You will serve me, your life I claim! The mines await you, that's your sentence, begone now and find repentance! Pick up the Collection of Poetry that Nenais drops, then return to Farith for your reward.
Marvelous! Now the original manuscripts can finally take their rightful place in our library. And the true poet will be praised for them, not this mad, despicable thief. Logbook Entry
