Buddix Find the creatures that are making the mysterious com circles and bring back proof of their existence! It all happened a few nights ago... I couldn't sleep, so I went out for a walk. Suddenly I saw these round flying disks whirling about in the heavens and making circles in the cornfields. My father thinks I've gone mad, but I'll prove that they really do exist! Go to the next village and bring me a book called "Irrelevant Ancarian Tall Tales." Perhaps I'll find a clue in one of the stories. Please help me prove that these mysterious creatures exist! Ok Head southwest to Twainbrook and talk to the Paperboy near the fountain in the center of town. If you haven't spoken to him before, he'll give you some information about the Blind Guardian upcoming concert in Sonnenwind, and how he couldn't get tickets. Keep heading northeast into the valley where the Confused Guard is standing. Talk to him to learn he was abducted and that the flying disk he was held in headed into the mountains. Confused Guard What was that? I didn't do anything! Someone must be playing a joke on me! I pray to all the Gods, harm no one and regularly donate to the clerics! This round thing just stopped and hovered above me. Then I was sucked up into it by d beam of bright light. I was trapped inside the disk for what seemed like an entire week, but when I was released my friends said I had only been gone for d few hours. They said something about me "drinking on the job" and gave me d dishonorable discharge from the army. I'm ruined! Thdt thing must be somewhere up there in the mountains! I think a track leads up that way. Ok Follow the path behind the guard north into the mountains. At the fork turn left (west), and then follow the path all the way to the end and the entrance to a cave. Head into the cave and have a look around - the only enemies are the magic defences either side of the chamber's entrance. Kill those and then examine the pedestal in the middle of the room. Push the button on top of it and you will receive a message about a strange light... The Player The switch is on. I wonder what that strange light is? Ok Kill the Alien and pick up its head as a souvenir. Return to Buddix for your reward. Buddix So I WAS right! I knew it! But..urgggh! It's revolting! I'll get nightmares from this!
