Detailed Walkthrough
Once you arrive in Za'Zuruik, talk to your new boss. He has a mission for you, you need to eliminate Octagolamus that threatens the orc tribes with. He orders you to escort a VIP Grurag Shaman to a river, where he can cut off the water from the monster's lake to make him vulnerable.
The Octagolamus must be defeated!
Welcome warrior! You are the first among us who is not of Orcish blood. These are unusual times. The Clans have agreed to a truce because we are facing a higher threat and need to fight it.
The large river that belongs to all Clans does not flow any longer. A water monster - the Octagolamus - has blocked it and dammed up a lake. Many brave warriors from all Clans have died. Too much blood has been shed. Too much blood! The water monster must die. All Clans have agreed. We fight each other, but we will close ranks against a mutual threat.
We will be the Clan that defeats the Octagolamus. The honor will be ours! OURS alone! there is something that the other Clans do not know. Without water the monster is like a sitting duck. Weak and vulnerable. Run the river's well dry. Once the ground is dry, you will be able to kill the monster. We will be able to build houses and cultivate fileds. Who knows? It might mean the end of the Clan wars as well.
Escort this shaman to the river. He will run the well dry.

The shaman is immortal, so don't worry about him. Go outside and walk north near the mountain, until you find the passage.
Inside the cave, go to the far corner (as the green arrow shows), talk to the shaman and wait until he performs his "rituals" (he'll basically just pull a small plug, but you can pretend that you didn't notice that).
| ||
Once he's done talk to him again. The water will run dry, and you'll be able to face Octagolamus. Go to the door that was previously locked (as the red arrow shows), and get ready for a serious fight. Small hint: draw Octagolamus up onto the shore near the cave. The Orcs told you he is weaker out of the water. Once you kill the boss (be careful what you pick up btw, the grey items are actually his legs and might bug your inventory), return to Za'Zuruik and speak with Chieftain Jurrtag.
He is so grateful for the honor you have bestowed upon his clan, that he releases the captive elves. Which turn out to be not quite as grateful. They give you some useful directions to the Palace of the Seraphim.
Travel to the Seraphim
Ah, there you are! Somewhat late, for which you can expect to be disciplined later.
My team was investigating the magical leaks when we were captured by the Orcs. Nasty business. Heads on stakes. No tea. Stil, we showed them a thing or two - built a proper compound, for one thing - a child could have knocked over the other one.
You'll be carrying on for us now. We learned the leaks are coming from a network of ancient pipelines. But it's a complete mysterity to this lot. You'll have to go speak with the Seraphim to learn more. Head north to their Crystal Palace. And do try and be more punctual.
Go north to the beach and speak with the captain of the ship that will take you to the next quest and chapter, Realm of the Seraphim
