Detailed Walkthrough
It is highly unlikely that you will just stumble on this quest. In order to get to the Temple of the Gods in Bengaresh Desert, head due west from the Monolith. You will come to another quest giver, turn northwest immediately and head into what appears to be a box canyon. The east wall of the "canyon" can actually be climbed.

At that point, it is a simple matter of walking to the temple.
In the temple, you will meet Malak, Priest of Forens. He is willing to give you his blessing if you make a sacrifice to Forens. The sacrifice is a beetle's wing and clean water.

From there, head south towards the oasis. Once there, you will meet another priest of Forens, Priest Galon. He recognizes you and has the water you require.
