Detailed Walkthrough
It seems one of Wendelin's patrols managed to make it back to camp and report. The Unholy Crusaders are trying to summon a demon at the stone circle north of the camp. Go there and kill anything doing with the Unholy Crusaders. There are only 11 tied to this quest, but there are other crusaders and such around that need to be eradicated.
When you've killed off the 11, the 12th, an Unholy Crusader mage will become a target. Kill him and collect the magic scroll.

Take it to Officer Wendelin who can't make heads or tails of it. So he will send you to talk with Kratos, the demonologist who is located in Trellheim Manor.
