Just read your logbook and do what it says you to do:

The adventure is about to begin. I am armed, i have a mission and... i have got a towel!
But before i start to explore this world i should learn some basics. Better be safe than sorry.
+ Damage Types: Burn Skeletons, Burn!
+ Relics: Playing with Bears
+ Hirelings: The Pirate Cave
+ Runemaster: The Runemaster's Son
+ Blacksmith: Michel, the Blacksmith's Apprentice
All tutorials can be found in Sloeford or nearby... so i have been told.

Or if you don't want to do it now, you'd better not forget to do it later.
