A poor woman named Lena will beg for your help. She needs some thread rush from the apothecary for her sick husband. She even offers her ring as payment.

You politely decline the offer and head out for the apothecary. It's just down over the next street so you head in and talk to the Apothecary. He tells you there has been a high demand for the plant from a nearby barony that is dealing with an epidemic. All he has left is old stock and he's not certain if it's still any good. His nephew had gone out looking for some in the mountains but has not yet returned. If you find the nephew, you'll probably find some thread rush.
