While impersonating Muntus Barimak you attend the Barimak secret family meeting. Although the family is very wealthy they also want more political influence. The King is already indebted to them and Mawino wants to make it even more so. He says he'll waive a majority of the debt if the King tries and convicts his main competitor of high treason.
