Stefan Ruthenberg is one of the Ascaron employees that have to be contacted in the [[Sacred 2:Epic Office Quest|]] quest. He can be found standing on the porch of a house in the Pirate cove where you find the key to the The Legendary Pirate Treasure.
The easiest way to reach him is from either the Western Tyr-Lysia portal or the Sloeford portal. Head to the merchant on the west end of the Golden Coast then head to the spot to the north and west of the merchant to the Elf who gave you the Kobold Canyon quest. When you get to Scout Jalenthil, the soldier who gives out the Pesky Pirates chain quest, go into the same cave he sent you into for that quest. Go through the cave and take the exit on the south end of the one with the green mist. When you get outside, turn right, and check the western house. Stefan is on the porch.
