This is it. You’ve made it this far, now there is one final task ahead of you. One final objective that stands between you and completion of the expansion and the entire game. That final task is plain and simple: Defeat Anducar! But WILL it be that simple? We shall see…
Once Anducar’s best warriors fall, past the Big Gate into the Inner courtyard and battle your way to the back of the room wiping out the last of Anducar’s Forces until you see him and Vilya standing by a Giant Skull Obstruction. Speak to Anducar to learn this whole thing has been a setup and that Vilya has deceived you. She merely sold the freedom of Ancaria over to Anducar in exchange for being with her beloved Valor! Anducar isn’t much of a talker, so he plainly states he would love to continue chatting but there is a kingdom to conquer.
Anducar: (Human Form)
As soon as you’ve clicked OK, Anducar will jump in the air and summon a wall of Cerebropod’s and put up a magical barrier behind you barring your way back. it is not important. Focus your attention on Anducar himself. He will begin to run around like a normal mage and every few seconds throw spells at you and some form of a Poisonous Green Cloud which takes off half your life. Make sure you’re loaded with potions and heal when his spells hit you. ATTACK HIM ANYWAY YOU SEE FIT! Once you’ve beaten him, Vilya will go into a moaning state because in killing Anducar, it was her one and only chance for her to be with her beloved Valor again. The fight is not over…
Anducar: (Demon Form)
Prepare yourself! Anducar jumps in the air again and turns into a Towering Red Demon! This fight is a bit harder but it’s not to bad. He still attacks you the same way with the Poisonous Green Cloud and other spells but he can now also summon Floor Spikes out of the ground to. These can be a pain because they can kill your character in 2 hits. If the floor spikes come up and damage you, MAKE SURE you heal as soon as you see your life drop! Keep Healing and attacking him with your best combat arts (Particularly ones that boost your Attack, Speed and Accuracy or ones that assist you in fighting such as animal companions or icons that swirl around your character damaging other enemies like the Daemon‘s Blazing Disc) and he will eventually fall…
'THE FIGHT IS OVER! Why is Vilya lying on the ground? What’s happened to her?…We’re about to find out.
After you’ve defeated Anducar in his Demon form, head over to vilya’s body and speak to her. She tells you that her life is draining from her body…she is dying, and says that she and her beloved Valor will be together once again. you will watch a short cut scene of Valor’s Ghost coming out of the sky and taking Vilya’s Ghost up to Heaven.
When the screen comes back on, a weird message will come up from Anducar (even tho he’s dead), saying “This is the End! You May now save your Character.”
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU’VE JUST BET THE UNDERWORLD CAMPAIGN! NOW YOU CAN EXPORT YOUR CHARACTER AND TRY THE NEXT DIFFICULTY LEVEL YOU’VE UNLOCKED!
